Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday. With just a few more days left of 2019, looking back, I hope you all had a fruitful year. I myself feel more relaxed and I think I’ve learnt how to take things easy. I'm so grateful for everything.
皆様こんにちは。お元気ですか？ 今年も残す所、数日となりましたが、どんな一年だったでしょうか？ 私は何かともがいている日々がここ数年続いていましたが、10月の終わり頃、やっと、ようやく、ふと肩の力が抜けたような感覚を覚えました。色々思う所もありますが、全てに感謝です。このブログを訪れて下さっている皆様にも感謝。ありがとうございます：）

A Christmas comet has landed! The Lorient family, Antwn, Linda and Seren gave us a Harrods 12-month matured Decadent Christmas pudding made with cognac & brandy-soaked cherries. Absolutely yummy! We had quite a struggle to take these photos of the pudding with a flambé but I’m glad some were fine :) The slice is on our lovely friend, Robyn Cove’s beautiful plate.

クリスマス彗星の訪れ。ロリアン仲間のアントン、リンダ、セレンからのプレゼント、ハロッズのクリスマスプディング。クリスによれば、イギリスでは通常春頃からこのケーキを仕込み始めるそうなのですが、これは一年もの。コニャックとブランデー漬チェリー入りで大変美味でございました：） クリスがフランベ係りを担当してくれて何とか写真が撮れました。ウィスキークリームを添えるのが習慣のようですが、ギリシャヨーグルトで。お皿はお友達の陶芸家ロビン・コーヴの作品。
二十四節気は冬至。72候 は麋角解 ( さわしかつのおる ) 。ツノは落とせませんが、フレッシュな気持ちで2020年が迎えられますように。
